Privacy policy
Draft policy for review — a qualified attorney should confirm the final wording before launch.
What we treat as highly sensitive
Journal entries, symptom reflections, daily check-ins, voice notes, uploaded photos and onboarding answers are treated as highly sensitive personal information. They are private by default and are never displayed publicly.
Who can see your writing
Only you. Access rules are enforced at the database level so that your records can be read only by your own account. Administrators manage rituals, articles and affirmations — they do not have a browsing path into member journals, check-ins or reflections, and they see engagement only as anonymous totals.
Analytics and consent
Optional analytics are off unless you explicitly turn them on. Personal information is never sold or rented, and private wellness data is never used for advertising.
Your controls
- Export your journal and account data at any time.
- Delete an individual entry, or your entire account and its contents.
- Turn private insights off entirely.
- Choose whether to receive reminders, and how often.
Retention
Your content is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, your private records are removed from the live system, and remaining backup copies age out on the ordinary backup cycle. Anonymous, aggregated counts that cannot identify you may remain.
Security
Sign-in is protected, files are access-controlled, all input is validated on the server, keys are stored only in protected server-side secrets, and important administrator actions are recorded in an audit log.
Questions
Write to us through the contact page and we will respond. Atira's postal address and data-protection contact details will be added here before launch.
